Česká urologie (the Czech urology) is the official journal of the Czech Urological Society of the Czech Medical Society of Jan Evangelista Purkyně (ČUS ČLS JEP).

Published since the year 1997 with a quarterly frequency, it focuses on original scientific works from the field of urology or other closely co-operating fields.

The aim of the magazine is spreading information about the scientific work of Czech urological sites among the Czech urological and other specialists‘ community. The Czech urology also strives to teach the young scientific workers from the urological area systematic work on the basis of the principles of evidence-based medicine (EBM) as well as of the medical ethics.

The everyday activities of the magazine are organized by its wider management - editor in chief and five-member Executive Editorial Board. It co-operates with the Editorial Board and with the Publisher, the Czech Urological Society, or, more precisely, with its Committee.
