Pýchová M, Švojgr K, Mališ J, Rygl M, Pýcha K, Kynčl M, Kodet R, Starý J, Šnajdauf J. Nephroblastoma - current evaluation and treatment. Nephroblastoma (Wilms tumor - WT) is the most common solid renal tumor in children. The patients are treated according to SIOP 2001 protocol. This protocol recommends pre-operative chemotherapy, nephrectomy and postoperative treatment. Blastemal and anaplastic histological subtypes are poor prognostic factors. It is a well treatable disease, with up to 90 % of patients cured.

Keywords: Nefroblastom, terapie, Wilmsův tumor.
