Penile urethral strictures are the most challenging for the reconstructive urologist. Penile urethral reconstruction of one centimeter is usually equally demanding as bulbar urethral reconstruction of four centimeters. The aim of this work is to analyze the studies over the last three years, concerning penile urethral stricture surgery, which are connected with instrumentation, infections of the lower urinary tract or traumatic injuries. Strictures of unknown etiology were also included. Comparison of urethroplasty success with fasciocutaneous flap or buccal mucosal graft is the most important part of this work.
