Vlnieška J. Petřík A. Urolithiasis in pregnancy. Renal colic is the most common non obstetric cause of hospital admission in pregnancy. Ideal managementof urinary stones which ensure the good condition of the mother and fetus is a challenge to urologists and gynecologists. There are several anatomical and functional changes in the urogenital tract of pregnant women, which lead to calculi formation. The most common symptom of ureteral stone is flank pain with microscopic or macroscopic hematuria. Inonizing imaging modalities should be avoided if is possible in pregnant women. Ultrasound is the first line imaging of choice. It is non invasive, low cost...

Aim: Retrospective analysis of 96 patients with primary testicular cancer treated at a pediatric oncology department in the period 1998-2021. Evaluation of epidemiology, age-specific distribution of types of germinal testicular tumors, type of operation, type of chemotherapy and treatment results. Evaluation of late effects of treatment in long-term survivors. Methods and characteristics: during the study period, 96 patients with primary testicular tumor - 89...

Trávníček I, Mlynarčík M, Ferda J, Malán A, Michalová K, Kacerovská D, Hora M. Dynamic sentinel lymph node biopsy and its role in invasive staging of cN0 penile cancer. A 10-year experience of one institution. Aim: Invasive staging of the inguinal lymph nodes is indicated in penile cancer in intermediate- and high-risk tumours (T1 G2 and higher). Dynamic sentinel lymph node biopsy (DSLNB) or modified inguinal lymph node dissection (mILND) or minimally invasive modified video-endoscopic inguinal lymph node dissection (mVEILND) are used. Minimally invasive VEILND can also be performed robotically. The aim of this study is to evaluate the results of DSLNB...

Novak I, Giblo V, Kašparová P, Hojná K, Svědíková J. A symptomatic non inflammatory paraurethral cyst in the corpus spongiosum of bulbar urethra. We present a 29-year-old man with non-inflammatory symptoms of the lower urinary tract (LUTS: testicular pain, difficulty urinating, dysuria, decrease in urine flow). As the cause of LUTS, a paraurethral cystic formation in the corpus spongiosum bulbar urethra was diagnosed by performed examinations (ultrasonographically, urethrocystoscopically, urethrographically and by computed tomography). After the primary percutaneous needle biopsy, there was a relapse, which was successfully cured by classical surgical...

Straka O, Michalová K. Malignant solitary fibrous tumor of the scrotum. In this case report, we present a 55-year-old man who presented with an 11 cm mass in his left scrotum. Physical and ultrasound examination revealed a tumor mass in left hemiscrotum. There was high suspicion for malignant tumor of left testicle, therefore, a left radical inguinal orchidectomy was performed. Histopathological report revealed a paratesticular malignant solitary fibrous tumor. Left testicle was intact. Scrotal solitary fibrous tumor is an extremely rare finding, with only few cases reported in medical literature. To our knowledge this is the first published case in...

Šlemendová M, Nechanská B, Fabián O, Soukup V. Cavernous lymphangioma of adrenal gland in a young woman. In this article we present the case of a woman, who had a bulky mass in the adrenal gland. Laparoscopic adrenalectomy was performed, and histopathological examination confirmed a cavernous lymphangioma. It is a benign tumour that occurs in most cases in the head and neck region or in the mediastinum. The primary localisation in the adrenal gland is rare.

Sedláček J, Drlík M, Kočvara R. Urethral duplication in children - three cases. Urethral duplication represents a spectrum of rare congenital anomalies with different phenotypes, the common feature of which is the duplication of a part or complete urethra. This defect should be kept in mind whenever, in addition to the normally located urethral orifice on the glans, an additional orifice is found on the dorsal or ventral surface of the penis, scrotum or perineum. The supernumerary orifice, which may be hidden under the nonretractile foreskin in children with phimosis, should also be looked for in patients with significant dorsal penile angulation....
