Photoselective vaporisation of the prostate (PVP) combined with laparoscopic urinary bladder diverticulectomy. Introduction: Pseudodiverticulum of urinary bladder is usually associated with Bladder Outlet Obstruction (BOO). Trdaditionally the most common surgical management was open prostatectomy with diverticulectomy (D). More recently, two-stage endoscopic procedures have been usedFirstly, TURP,followed by laparoscopic diverticulectomy (LD). Košina J, Balík M, Holub L, Hušek P, Pacovský J, Broďák M. Extra-anatomic stents as an alternative of nephrostomy. Extra-anatomic stents represent an alternative to the nephrostomic tube for patients with ureteric obstruction in whom the ureteral stenting failed. They are designed for patients with extramural obstruction of ureters caused by abdominal or pelvic tumors or severe form of retroperitoneal fibrosis. The main advantage of extra-anatomic stents is that they do not require use of nephrostomic tube and urine bag. The introduction is not difficult and all currently available extra-anatomic stents have all the necessary components for implementation...

The patients were thereafter treated by immunochemotherapy R-CHOP (rituximab, cyklophoshamid,...

Szewczyk J, Krhut J. Fikoczek H, Kalusková I. Iatrogenic ureteral lesion diagnosed after one month. We present a case report of a patient with an iatrogenic lesion of the left ureter diagnosed one month after gynecological surgery. The main symptoms were abdominal distension and abdominal pain. A CT-IVP was not diagnostic. Only a subsequent reterograde urogram was more sensitive and demonstrated a ureteric lesion. It is always advisable to perform the most sensitive diagnostic methods when in doubt.

Horáková J, Starczewski J, Fiala M, Smrčka V, Kubále J, Petřík A. Urachal anomalies - a rare cause of abdominal pain and fever. Urachal anomalies are rare. Literary data include case reports, studies analysing data from large groups are not available. Optimal treatment remains a matter of debate. The disease has a good prognosis when adequate treatment is initiated early. It can however also manifest with a life-threatening sepsis or peritonitis. We report a case of 13-month-old girl with infected urachal cyst.

Spacek J, Novak I, Jasna B, Tomasek J, Vachata S, Brodak M. Page kidney a late presentation of subcapsular renal hematoma in a young boy. This case report presents late onset secondary hypertension due to traumatic subcapsular haematoma in a young boy (page kidney). Rare was the time gap between trauma and clinical presentation. Puncture and evacuation of the older haematoma with subsequent laparoscopic marsupialisation of the subcapsular space due to a recurrent fluid collection were curative.
